Tjáningarþörf og tilviljanir eru kveikjuþráðurinn að gjörningum Sallýar og Mo. Þar sem þær eru hugarástand eða hugarburður þá er sjáflsskoðun og gagnrýni ekki að þvælast fyrir þeim við sköpunina heldur á sér stað óheft tjáning. Við úrvinnsluna leitast þær eftir að finna augnablik sem samsama best reynslu þeirra af og í núinu. Afraksturinn verður síðan verk þeirra, gjörningar, hvort sem endapunkturinn er vídeó, ljósmyndir eða skúlptúrar. Þær vinna í óheftum spuna og spyrja ekki að samhengi fyrr en eftir á. Útkoman eru video, ljósmyndir og skúlptúrar. Sally og Mo eru vinkonur og hafa verið það í hundruð ára. Milli þeirra er þráður sem þarf ekki að setja í orð. Þær eru upphafið, framhaldið og endirinn af hvor annarri.
Unbound Creativity
Sally and Mo are friends who work together on artistic projects where they emphasize on creativity and creation through their experience of the here and now. In making their work they rely on spinning and spontaneity where they document the process in the form of photographs, video performances and three-dimentional. Their behaviour raises questions of social norms where irrational and banal acts exaggerates pre-conceived social norms. They make experiments with the image and the meaning of aesthetics in a mundane environment and try to make or break the connection between the two.
